This post is pretty random because it's all about how I improved at taking pictures. And if you'd like to see more of my photos, follow me on Instagram! ---> @judangela
These are my very first photographs. I was just literally taking pictures of anything, I didn't care if no one liked them, I just wanted to post something everyday.
I was beginning to experiment with different angles and effects. I used lots of apps to edit my photos and they usually take a very long time.
I was starting to get the hang of it, so my photos looked like Tumblr posts. They look cute and everything, but they're not me. Too girly.
This format was inspired by @katia_mi, which is also an Instagram account. Her photos seem so sophisticated, and she's got tons of followers! Unfortunately, it didn't work for me.
This was the same effect that I used on my previous photos but this time I used lighter tones to create a neat effect. This was inspired by @catherinesomething.
Here comes the change. I've noticed that most of the users that @Instagram suggests are those with photos that look natural and doesn't have lots of filters. My previous photos do require lots of editing so I decided to switch my format. These are the results.
All I wanted was for my photos to look natural and effortless. Do you think I'm able to show it in these current photos? Or should I go back to my previous format?
Instagram inspired me to not just settle on snapping photos of anything, anytime and anywhere. I'm very glad to get to have an account because it's the best that I have so far.
If you haven't made one, you better do it now!
Sincerely,
An IG Freak
